The Wakefield 1963 Reunion Committee recently sent out an invitation letter to our classmates. Below is a copy of the letter. If you happen to arrive at this site and don't receive the letter, please take the time to let us know if you can attend.

It's really true!! 2013 will mark our 50th year since we graduated from Wakefield. The 50th for our class will be particularly special. Besides connecting with old friends and classmates, a new Wakefield building is under construction now. Our Wakefield - the site of so many of our memories and adventures - will be demolished at the end of the school year 2013. We're scheduling our reunion for May 18, 2013 to take advantage of touring the two schools - old and new. It will be the 'last look' at the old school before it's torn down over the summer. And yes, there will be artifacts and memorabilia from the old school for sale to benefit the Wakefield Foundation.

Will you come? Your Reunion Committee is already working on preliminary plans, but we'd like your input to help make it an event you want to attend. As we're trying to assess how many classmates to plan for, we're asking you to let us know if you're likely to attend. We're not asking for a firm commitment now - just some idea of whether or not you'll likely be part of the celebration.

Need Contact Information: We also need your more complete contact information in our database so we can keep you in the loop. Since the Post Office is doing less and often not forwarding mail, and email addresses change, we'll have to do more to stay in touch with you and be sure we keep you on the classmate list. So help us out with your up-to-date information - whether you're coming or not.
