Welcome Class of 1962

Dedication:

This Wakefield High School Class of 1962 40th Reunion Commemorative CD is dedicated to the shared experience of our Wakefield years and the love and mutual respect that bind us --the Class of 1962-- together still.

Overview of what is here:

To view this CD, click on the tabs above.  The CD's organization is indicated by these navigation tabs.  From left to right:

Announcements of upcoming events and instructions for staying connected with the Wakefield community.
Autobiographical summaries of approximately 280 classmates are shown.  Many people provided recent photos of themselves and also some proud family photos.  (Regrettably, the entire class of about 650 could not be included.  To see how we determined who made the cut, click here.)
40th Reunion party pictures.  See classmates drink legally and receive silly awards.  Also see the official group photos of the 1992 and 1982 reunions
Hundreds of recently discovered pictures from the Starstone archive.  Included are ones showing heavily-armed students in the senior court (the rifle team) and the Confederate flag at a football game.
Complete texts of the Senior Prophesies, Last Will and Testaments, eleven issues of The Signal, and much, much more.
The latest available personal contact data on 649 alumni from the Class of 1962. Also, a special bonus: The 1962 faculty directory.

Are you wondering why it took so long to deliver this CD?  Do you like stories about reunion committees pathetically trying to be techno-savvy, and (s-ssh) about a girl who canít say no?  Then read about the creation of this CD right here.
