The Wakefield Class of 1961 had its picnic at Sherando Park in Stephens City, VA on October 6th. The picnic was well attended by classmates, spouses, friends, kids and grandkids. Classmates came from VA, PA, NC, and SC. The weather was great and everyone had a good time reminiscing about the good old days. Horseshoes, volleyball and a kids' playground were available as well. Everyone enjoyed the hamburgers, hot dogs and shared special dishes and desserts. The picnic broke up around 6:00 pm with everyone looking forward to the 2nd Annual Picnic!
