Atty. Steven D. Ostrowsky, 60, of 172 Cambridge Circle, Longmeadow, Massachusetts, died Thursday at Baystate Medical Center.  He was a practicing attorney in Springfield since 1972.  He previously has worked for the National Labor Relations Board in Boston.  Steven also was an adjunct faculty member at Western New England College.  Born in Elizabeth, New Jersey, Steven was a magna cum laud graduate of the University of Virginia, and Boston College Law School, where he was a member of the Order of the Coif, an honorary scholastic honor society.  He was a past President and member of the Board of Directors of the E. Longmeadow Chamber of Commerce, Legislative steering committee of the Greater Springfield Chamber Commerce, Massachusetts Bar Association, Hampden County Bar Association, and its labor law section.  Steven was predeceased by a brother, David, who died in 1988.  He leaves his wife, Phyllis (Stein) Ostrowsky; 3 daughters, Alison and Karen of Longmeadow, Sheryl and son-in-law Denis Pearson; 2 grandchildren, Cassidy and Ashley, all of Coats, North Carolina; and a brother, Howard of California.  The funeral will be Monday October 21st at 8 a.m. at Harold R. Ascher and Son Memorial Chapel, with burial in the Massachusetts Veterans' Memorial Cemetery in Agawam.  Memorial contributions can be made to the American Diabetes Association, 300 Research Parkway, Meriden, Connecticut 06450, or to the American Heart Association, 1111 Elm Street, Suite 9A, West Springfield, Massachusetts 01089.
