1960 STARSTONE
Scanned images of our senior year STARSTONE are provided in this group of the 1960 class pages.
NOT ALL OF THE STARSTONE IS UP YET. Currently posted sections are "FACULTY",
"SENIORS", "ACTIVITIES", "CLUBS", "SPORTS", and the "BACK-OF-STARSTONE
INDEX." Additional sections will be added at the end of
each month, and all will be accessible in the next few months. The Starstone pages have been substantially
reworked to give you many more options for navigating around. Check it out. You'll like it.
MUCH GRATITUDE TO BILL HARTNETT, who many years ago scanned our yearbook into computer-displayable
form, as well as put together much coding to display and navigate through them. Unfortunately, those involved in
class matters at the time were few, and an abundance of critical things were then needing attention and action. And
so the steps necessary to make Bill's fine effort widely available were unable to be immediately taken. However, in
conjunction with current expansion in general of information available via our class page portal on the WEF web site,
implementation of what Bill had made possible was set as a top priority. So here's the current incarnation. The
rest will be up before long. Many thanks, Bill!
WHO KNOWS WHERE THE STARSTONE FINAL PROOFS
ARE? If the original photographs and layouts are still available anywhere, we'd
like to get them scanned so that the STARSTONE's appearance on these web pages can be an even
better experience, by virtue of their being rescanned from the best possible source material.
If any of you involved in the creation of the STARSTONE has any idea as to
where the proofs finally came to rest (at the printers, at the school, at the county archives?);
or, if anyone knows how to get in touch with Mr. Simms (faculty advisor for STARSTONE)
