| Margaret "Peggy" Ann Wolf Alexander, 66,
of Heathsville, Virginia, a dearly loved wife, mother, daughter, grandmother and friend,
departed this life on January 6, 2009 after a courageous fight to continue her life
peacefully with her Lord and Savior. She was predeceased by her sister, Diane
"Lynn" Carpenter. She is survived by her devoted husband of 45 years,
Ronald L. Alexander and her beloved parents; John E. Wolf of Bradenton Florida and Edna M.
Wolf of Jasper, Indiana, her son, David "Kirk" Alexander and wife Tammie of
Mechanicsville, Maryland, her daughter; Kelli Hamblin and husband Mike of Heathsville,
Virginia, four grandchildren; David Alexander, Jr., Nicole Bishop, Colin Hamblin and
Brianne Hamblin, a very special friend; Jo Grubb of Richmond, Virginia, and her special
miracle doctor and friend, Dr. Joseph Bessler. She was born in Washington D.C. then
moved to Arlington, Virginia. She graduated from Wakefield High School in 1960,
furthered her education at Strayer College and married in March of 1963. She then
moved to Springfield, Virginia. and traveled every weekend to spend time boating in the
Northern Neck of Virginia. She settled in her waterfront home in Heathsville,
Virginia in 1989, where she enjoyed watching the beauty of nature. She was currently
employed at EVE Bank in Burgess, Virginia. Peggy was a kindhearted woman who showed
great compassion for her friends, family and loved ones. She was a sterling example
of strength, purpose and determination and most of all had a deep and abiding love for her
family and friends. The family will receive friends at Faulkner Family Funeral Home
and Crematory, Burgess, Virginia on Saturday, January 10, 2009 from 1 to 3:00 PM.
